save me, Saint Non
your well, your song
here is my pride
here is my grieving
here is this hell I've been receiving
so save me, Saint Non your well, your song
“what water you drink”
she says
“on flesh you won’t feed” she says
“Down on your knees you’re close to me...
Where everything grows, where thing starts again.
Deep in my ground the wealth of the spring is given for free...”
and I said:
“ Saint! Saint! Saint!, Saint! Old Gods! Old Gods, Wont you Wash Me?”
save me, Saint Non
it’s your well, it’s your song
I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250
This is wonderful. Great how you combine this music, integrated her voice. What an outstanding cooperation. Keep it up! I'll sure be looking ;) MyDogLikesRock
Singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, Chelsea Wolfe’s plaintive voice is the centerpiece of all of these chillingly bleak tunes. Watery, sliding orchestration suits the misty and dark environment that she evokes throughout. Unflinchingly stark, the recording suitably ends with a storm. Nickie Harte Kelly
