Terence Kumpf Favorite track? No. For me, the sign of success is how far an artist inspires others to create. Emma's music makes me want to make more music. Whether or not the world needs, or even wants, my music is another question entirely. Regardless, thank you for the inspiration, Emma.

Der Ohlsen "Nothing is cut between the songs, because her humbly and humorously talking about the songs and the transformative meaning of the festival for her is a crucial part of this album, which makes it whole and gives it another dimension than the studio recording additionally to the overwhelming emotional power of those songs themselves."

s/he knows Nobody has to like live albums. But this is a fucking masterpiece of a live album, a record you can hear breathe.
What one single artist and her audience create here is great (live album) art! Favorite track: In My Afterlife - Live At Roadburn.

ishtar.mania I've seen Emma live for the first time this winter during her EoH tour and it was a wonderful experience. This album as it is the live version really sends me back to when I went myself during another date. It was an out of time experience and still brings me to tears. I love this album so so much. The really deep contrast in this album is I think what I love the most, sometimes dark, sometimes bright, it's making my heart melt. I can't choose just one track, I love them all.

inflatable_dream I was fortunate enough to be at Roadburn last spring to experience this set in person. Emma has quickly become one of my favorite artists, and this album let’s me relive one of my all time favorite live music experiences.

rbergman I saw Emma perform EOH live three times. Each of the gigs was intense, mesmerizing and unique. And although these did not include Roadburn, this album captures the vibe of those concerts. Vulnerable and powerful, intimate and heartfelt. Nine beautiful songs about brokenness and loss, beauty and hope.

Dear Emma, thank you for these wonderful and unforgettable experiences and this recording to keep those experiences alive. And by the way, the vinyl is great.

about

“Roadburn has been such an important place for me and my evolution as an artist. The opportunity to perform Engine of Hell in full there in 2022 was the end of something… and the beginning of this whole new chapter in my life and art. I really do feel free is so many ways. I wanted to commemorate and honor the experience by making my Live at Roadburn album my first self release in 13 years. I will always treasure the Roadburn community” - ERR
